First comes your opinion on the subject of your post, yea/nay, anecdote or whatever here. Something of substance perferred since you're supposed to actually care about whatever it is you are posting about and not just to build your post count cause a post count doesn't mean jack if you don't say anything.

Notice how easy it is to discern what I say versus what is "quoted" from the link.
If you respond to this you should be able to see how it is all formatted.
You'll also notice I often get rid of everyone's input except the person I'm responding to by deleting their responses when I respond. You don't have to do this but it helps keep who and what you are actually responding to simple to follow.
btw - fyi, the multi quotes you see in some thread responses are called "nested quotes". The last person to respond is the first name your read but the last response as you go down the quotes...
