Blueberry picking season began officially at my place at 6:52 this morning. Since I pick each berry lovingly by hand and they thusly require only a carbon baby footprint to produce, I am able to hold the line on price from the past two years.
$5 will get you a quart of these organic, pesticide- and herbicide-free beauties. And for you, just for you, a gallon is $18. I deliver to downtown (or such) on Tuesday and Friday, or whenever else it is convenient for me.
If you knew how those little gnats and flies attack me whenever I near the patch, you'd appreciate the berries you receive even more. They just fly right into the ear canal, with uncanny accuracy. Thank God for earplugs.
