Handshake Snub

FALSE

The above displayed video footage taken from President Barack Obama's July 2009 trip to Russia has been circulated in an edited, out of context version ...

President Obama met and shook hands with the Russian delagation, and then President Medvedev met and shook hands with the U.S. delegation ...

a portion in which President Obama is shown making directional hand gestures as he introduces President Medvedev to American officals...

President Obama is neither offering to shake hands nor being rebuffed in the attempt.

A non-edited video of this event clearly shows President Obama shaking hands with all the members of the Russian delegation:

Most of these pub sites indicating Obama was snubbed by the Russians also stated something like -

I wonder why the Liberal Media did not tell us that MANY Russian Pols REFUSED to even shake hands with Obama?

So the MSM blacked this out, but I'm sure they would have afforded George W. Bush the same courtesy

Funny... Our state-run media didn't report on this?

This one didn't seem to get any coverage, although it seems sufficiently newsworthy to me.

Of course, Obama getting snubbed, frustrated, and even visibly flustered by an entire row of Russian leaders on camera doesn't fit with the everybody-just-loves-Barrack narrative. He actually looked quite silly reaching out to one after another... only for them to act like he wasn't even there. This is the President of the United States we're talking about.

And the MSM press surely doesn't need you seeing that Obama's open hand to Moscow is being met with nothing but contempt by the other side... now literally! If you saw that, you may then realize what a comprehensive catastrophe his Pollyanna foreign policy already is- something the Obama sycophants in the American media will be keeping a lid on for as long as possible.

OK I quit. You get the idea.

There are tons more out there just like these listed. It's all a BIG LIE.
Repeated over and over and over and over and over endlessly.

Tibbs makes a good point about the ACORN videos.

Not that he meant to! :P

This edited youtube Scott posted is from Raymond Newberry's youtube channel. In the future I wouldn't be counting on the integrity of any youtubes coming off that channel. Another one Newberry has is about Camp FEMA Obama Youth Army and the first message I ran across on his channel comments is:

manis225ful (1 week ago) Obama sucks he is the worst ni--er in the world i want to kick is fucking ass off a damn cliff

I think SJ meant to say: OK, that's one channel. But the Pubs have a million of them. Because they have most of the money. Or at least the disposable income. And it's worth a billion to them, to save ten billion in government subsidies. But they can get wholesale prices, probably $200 million could return the Pubs to power. They just need the right Reaganesque [Palinesque?] figurehead.

I love it how the left screams when Obama gets Palinized. It's bullshit on both sides but don't act like it's only the right doing it.

Speaking of ACORN, have these videos been debunked due to editing or anything?

I seem to recall people saying the "truth will come out."

I think it has but still waiting to see if something else than the videos describe, happened.

Yeah, what DID happen to the ACORN videos, especially the Philly one? No sound, just the pimp's over voice, y'know, to explain what the muted ACORN employee was saying. That seemed to get buried, fast.

I noted FOX News had a new video today, unrelated to ACORN, showing how much fun GITMO actually is for our "guests" there. Our indefintely-held, non-tried, guests.

Fox does so much to support young video makers.

Surely, now that ACORN has been defunded, it would be the fair and right thing to do for all of the videotapes of all encounters with Acorn to be released?

This lie that Tibbs was spreading was exposed because their were other tapes available. We didn't have to rely only on Tibbs and the liars whose lies he repeats. The liars who made the ACORN tapes have not been investigated, and by now they may have destroyed the originals. I still hope there is an investigation, with subpoena powers, but it may be too late.

Tibbs did us all a great favor by demonstrating that the Republican party depends upon lies to make its points. This case only requires that you be able to watch two versions of a video, unlike the "death panel" and "infanticide" lies which require the ability to read and comprehend in order to expose their falsehood. Tibbs has devoted himself to spreading lies for years, and in this case, as in others before, he has been caught out.

Tibbs doesn't care, because most conservatives will only see the version which he presents, and because he has long ago abandoned any allegiance to the truth. But there may be honest people with a Republican heritage who have not realized that the Republican party relies upon lies. By spreading such brazen and obvious lies, Tibbs may cause honest people to reject the Republican talking points trumpeted daily on hate talk radio and television.

Not that he meant to.

As someone new here I ask, "Does Scott Tibbs always throw Molotov cocktails for arguments and then does not defend them once debunked?"
