Well, if we're talking Stiller written, directed, and starred, then yes.

If we're going by just acting (which is also the case with Mystery Men), then no. The other one in that case is There's Something About Mary.

I also think I read nothing but bad posting on it when it was revealed Robert Downey Jr. was to play Tony Stark.

I had heard nothing but great things about Iron Man and it does not disappoint. Its well done and Robert Downey Jr was perfect for the role, you will see why. The supporting cast does a fine job and Jeff Bridges' appearance will likely surprise you.

I've not seen the new Hulk movie (I actually saw the other on cable and thought it was not bad). I may go see the new Hulk movie but the next ones in my rotation are Hancock (since its Will Smith and the 4th of July and nothing says 4th of July like him in a big budget blockbuster) and The Dark Knight.

And I did not stay for the ending scene after the credits but have now watched it online (awesome!) thanks for the heads-up there Redman
This is the kind of thing that I think, frankly, separates the men from the boys in leadership. Do you have the testicular virility to make a decision like that, knowing what's coming your way.

Have you seen Flirting with Disaster? It may be my favorite Ben Stiller flick. The scenes with Lily Tomlin and Alan Alda are gold.

You all have encouraged me to see "Iron Man". All of the reviews I've read gave it excellent reviews, including Downey's performance. He's a damn good actor. I loved the documentary he did years ago about the national convention.

Now, I haven't seen "Unbreakable" and doubt I will, because I think Willis is a hack along the lines of Kevin Costner. I refuse to watch movies with either of them in it, because their characters always seem so recycled and formulaic. Closed minded? Yep.

I was reading Salon's review of "Hancock" and it was generally favorable except that the reviewer stated Smith seemed to stretch his limits as an actor. But that only piques my interest, because I want to see a guy with superpowers who just doesn't give a fuck - until he meets his friend's wife (Charlize Theron - a great actor in her own right).
Robin: "Self-control is sure tough sometimes, Batman!"
Batman: "All virtues are, old chum. Indeed, that's why they're virtues."
