As I stated, if the deniers had anything they wouldn't need to cherry pick their rebuttals to climate change.

So you have nothing other than "well it's always been there"

If we use your reasoning than prochoice should be the de facto standard since abortion has been around since shortly after we learned how women got pregnant.

I can't imagine you want to ride that pony as a legitimate point of view....

Okay then, my view hasn't changed, there is climate change, I'm not sure whether or how long or if it is natural event or human cause or cow or volcanoes causing it. I'm not sure if it is warming or cooling, not sure after seeing the history of the earth if it isn't supposed to heat and cool, considering the planets long term history has shown extreme heating and cooling already. My understanding is the ice age hit very quickly, but I could be wrong, I'm not the expert everyone else on this board is on the subject.

So you stick your head in the sand and just say what you do cause you want to and it's right based on the past, regardless of how long ago and the world then versus the world now.

Ok, so for you it is all about plausible deniability and ignorance. Just to sum up your statement.

Then you won't object or call anyone else stupid and ignorant if they adopt that towards anything else, after all if it works for you here then it works for them there doesn't it.

OMG, you sure get dramatic, not sure why you think everyone needs to be concerned and everyone has to agree with you? What difference does it make if I really have no opinion, why must I form a yeah or a nay to every issue. I'm on the fence, I really don't know what or what not to believe. So if have no opinion is stupid or ignorant to you then I think you are narrow minded. All I'm saying is climate changes happen. Are we warming it looks like it, but is it an earth cycle or is it man caused or both? I don't think anyone can say for sure. So play your silly word games and call me names because I fail to agree completely with you like many of your followers here.

I'm being dramatic... interesting take from someone that doesn't actually want to come up into the current time frame on a discussion of climate....

I think you're a lying eunuch on this matter actually. No science just your humble opinion is apparently all you have. Empty words and much chest thumping... being it's equivalent...

I guess asking you to backup your stance is too much to ask...

...and you accuse me of being dramatic. LMAOAY

That's what I have been saying, it is just my opinion. Im not agreeing or disagreeing, I don't have enough info on the subject, not that there isn't lack of info, I'm not passionate about the issue, I haven't taken the time to delve into it. Good grief, no chest thumping, nothing but observations that I have had, I never said otherwise. That's my stance, stated it from the start, I have no real opinion, where in the hell did you get anything else out of what I said? For some reason you attach more to what I say.

Why don't you enumerate the similarities between now and then... You know, for a start. See how that works for you. Then give us a list of differences.

...and/or you can explain the lies the climate change folks are telling us. Should be cake you're so staunch about your approach to the matter.

I'll take heavier topics to another board and I'll just take about the lighter fare here.

Oh you take some things far to seriously.

Ask your questions, do it on the forum though. No reason this couldn't have been posted there.

Nope, posted them on another forum. Thanks for the invite, I'll concentrate on important issues here like Clint Eastwood's ride, that is a great topic! Real meaningful.

lol, sheesh..

Going to make this conservation public.

I call BS. I was in school in the 1970s. There was no talk of cooling.

Given that most of the scientists in the 1970s were already saying "warming", I'd like to know all about this mythical predicted cooling, which no one can ever document. It seems to be in the category of a "Vets returning from Vietnam were spat upon by the hippies" style of urban legend.

I remember the weekly reader ran stories on it. It was 1971 sixth grade, Mr Briles was my teacher.

Maybe you should have paid attention.
